Your Mission.

Landing Secured.

LS2 keeps the payload upright and usable — even if the lander tips or comes
down on a slope.

Passive. No power.
No software.

Core for landers.
Pod and Mini for payloads. LS2-U for a shared slot.

Solving the Last-Mile Problem of Lunar Landings.

Maximum Protection.
Minimal Complexity.

LS2 is a passive icosahedral cage.

Twelve crushable vertices take the impact. A low center-of-gravity gimbal keeps the payload upright while the cage rolls.

No software. No actuators. No power for stabilization.
The payload can stay inside and work through an open face.

At CrescentTide Aerospace, we start with the fundamentals;

by boiling the problem down to basic laws, then reasoning up from there without 70 years of rigid-leg assumptions.

Our philosophy is clear: LS2 reframes landing from a high-risk

final phase into a deterministic, physics-validated success;

we remove complexity so you can focus on what you do best.

Introducing LS2:
The Active Solution in a Passive System

LS2 is a patent-pending, polyhedral stabilization system that delivers assured impact mitigation and self-righting for your lander — without adding active complexity or requiring any redesign.

High-strength carbon-fiber struts interconnect at layered energy-absorbing vertices, achieving 70-85% peak load reduction by distributing shock into manageable kinetic energy.

Key Features:

  • Pure Passive Stabilization: 360°    gimbal operated with zero power, sensors, or software

  • Omnidirectional Mitigation: Protects against tip-over on any contact angle

  • Scalable Architecture: Supports landers up to 10,000 kg on slopes up to 45°

  • Seamless Integration: Your propulsion, avionics, and payloads remain unchanged

Why LS2 Succeeds:
Rooted in
First-Principles Fundamentals:

  • Multi-point geometry for force distribution and omnidirectional contact

  • Low-gravity pendulum effect drives passive self-righting

  • Equilateral triangle face provides inherent stability once settled

LS2 - CORE
Lunar Lander Stabilization

Bolt-on stabilizer for a full lander.
For CLPS and commercial lander teams.

LS2 - POD
Industry Payload Delivery

1-meter crate for one payload. Ejected in the last meters, hardware stays inside and works through an open face. In prototype now.

LS2 - U
Shared Payload Delivery

Pod-scale cage, several 1U and 2U bays. A university buys a slot, not a mission.

LS2 - MINI
Small, Single Payload Delivery

Same physics, one instrument,
smaller crate.
The first unit we sell.

We will look at mass, envelope, and whether it can work through an open face — Pod, Mini, a slot on LS2-U, or Core on a lander.
